This notice explains what personal data Puddle Hound collects and why.

Who is responsible for your data

Puddle Hound is a trading name of ACSUPPLYCO LTD, a company registered in England and Wales, company no. 17086875, registered office PLACEHOLDER registered office address (to be supplied). ACSUPPLYCO LTD is the data controller. Contact: [email protected].

Orders

When you buy, we collect your name, email, phone number, delivery address and what you ordered. We use them to take payment, deliver your order, send order emails and handle returns. The lawful basis is the contract with you. We keep order records for 6 years, as tax law requires.

We share only what each service needs:

  • Stripe (payments): processes your card payment and receives your contact and delivery details. We never see your card number.
  • CJdropshipping (fulfilment partner): receives your name, delivery address, phone and the items, to pick, pack and send your order from its UK warehouse or, for items that ship from China, its warehouse in China. It is based outside the UK, so this is an international transfer, made under appropriate safeguards.
  • Resend (email delivery): sends your order confirmation.
  • Cloudflare (hosting): serves this website and stores order records.

Cookies and measurement

Strictly necessary storage works without consent: your basket and your cookie choice are kept in your browser's local storage.

Analytics and advertising tags run only if you click Accept on the cookie banner. They are loaded through Google Tag Manager:

  • Google Analytics 4 (analytics): how visitors use the site.
  • Meta Pixel (advertising): measures our ads on Facebook and Instagram.

If you accepted, we also send your purchase to Google Analytics and Meta from our server when your order is paid, so it is counted even if your browser blocks it. For Meta, your email and phone are hashed (scrambled) first. If you rejected, nothing is sent. You can change your choice at any time with the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.

If you accepted advertising cookies when you ordered, we may also upload a hashed (scrambled) copy of your email address and phone number, with the total you have spent with us, to Meta as a customer list. Meta matches it to its users to show our ads to people with similar interests, and says it deletes the hashes after matching. Email us to object and we will leave you out of future uploads.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, or ask us to correct, delete or stop using it. Email [email protected]. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
